Alexandra Hospital is an acute care general hospital offering personalized care to its patients. Alexandra Hospital started serving in the era of the Second World War. In 2000, the hospital underwent a major upgrading on all its facilities and offered services from becoming a corporation. In 2004, it expanded its services by taking over the regional hospital in Yishun, which changed its name to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in 2007. In 2008, Alexandra Hospital ventures to be a new entity called Alexandra Health. The Jurong Medical Center is a subsidiary of the Alexandra Hospital.
