Procedure Steps

What are the steps of a penile enlargement procedure?

Step 1 – Anesthesia

Medications are administered for your comfort during the surgical procedure. The anesthesia choices includes general anesthesia. Your doctor will recommend the best choice for you.

Step 2 – The incision

The surgery is performed after a special incision above the radix penis, which is called V-Y incision. This special incision and closure of it helps to increase the penile length in addition to penile enlargement surgery. Another incision is made in the inguinal region, to take epidermal tissue to enhance the girth of penis.

Step 3 – Penile Lengthening

Penile length can be increased by cutting the penile suspensory ligament, but not all, only the enough part of the ligament. The most important point in this technique is the required amount of cutting decided by an experienced surgeon.

Both cutting the suspensory ligament and the special incision at the beginning will help to increase penile length about 2.5-3 cm.

Step 4 – Penile Enlargement (Thickening)

When the patient needs to have an enlarged penis, I mean the thicker one, we have a durable technique that thickens the penis in girth. The epidermal tissue from the inguinal region is used to place beneath the skin of the penis circumferential in a vertical manner.

Step 5 – Closing the incision

When we performed either penile elongation surgery or enlargement one, the next step is the one of the most important points in penile cosmetic surgery. The closing the V-incision is very important part of the whole surgery and the operation site is closed as V-Y suturing technique.

Recovery

Just after the operation, the operation site is covered by sponge and elastic bandage on it. This dressing will stay for 3-4 days to prevent hematoma. The patient will be discharged on post-operative second day from the hospital with essential recommendations.

Patient Timeline

Step 1 – The patient arrives to Istanbul

Step 2 – 1st Day: Consultation with the surgeon and Lab tests- You will stay at the Hotel you choose.

Meet up with the operating surgeon to have a consultation and with the anesthesia doctor aswell. Get a blood test done and any additional tests if needed.

Step 3 – 2nd and 3rd Day: Penis Enlargement Operation - You will spend 2 nights at the hospital

Have the Penis Enlargement Surgery done (If general anesthetic is used you may need to stay overnight in hospital. It usually takes about two weeks to make a full recovery, but it can take up to six months to see noticeable results)

Step 4 – 4th Day: Control- You will stay at the hotel or you can go back to your country. Go back to your own country. (As long as patients can walk around the plane every hour, patients can fly 2 days after surgery. In long distance flights to other countries, more than 2 days recovery may be needed before taking a long flight.)
