- He worked as a lecturer and consultant in Erzincan University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology for 3 years.
- In 2021 he started to work as a chief assistant at Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital, earned the title of Associate Professor in March 2021, and then continued his duty as a lecturer.
- In 2016, Prof. Dr. Münir Ahmet SARPYENER received the Best Doctora Thesis Award (26th National Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Congress - Antalya, 2016).
- He has more than 40 articles published in international journals and has been the editor and chapter writer of many orthopedic books.
- Assoc. Dr. Hanifi Üçpunar's specialization is pediatric and adult spine diseases. He received training in this field at the Twin Cities Spine Center (Minneapolis-USA) in 2019.
- He also had training in pediatric and adult spine diseases at Istanbul Scoliosis and Spine Health Center - Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2022.
