Vichaiyut Hospital - Overview

Vichaiyut Hospital is the first private general hospital in Bangkok, operating since 1969.

The Vichaiyut Medical Center emphasizes on being the hospital’s out-patient center with specialized clinics, over 75 examination rooms, and ambulatory care. It also includes 100 new inpatient rooms and a conference room that can accommodate 1,000 participants for events of the hospital itself and the medical circle.

Vichaiyut Hospital stands firm on the policy of high standard and high quality treatment. The hospital organizes meetings for physicians and nurses on a monthly basis, such as the Journal Club and Mortality Conference, as well as conference on complicated or study cases which are supervised and followed up by team of executive physicians and specialists.
 

Vichaiyut Hospital is one of the major institutions accredited by the Medical Council of Thailand and Thailand Nursing Council as an associate institution for continuing education for physicians and nurses.

Participants at continuing education programs organized by the hospital are therefore officially acknowledged. The annual 3-day medical conference held at Vichaiyut is participated by physicians from other hospitals nationwide. The hospital also hosts national symposium for nurses.

At Vichaiyut Hospital, the internationally-experienced medical team of over 200 physicians from all medical specialties works closely with over one thousand supporting staff members. Highly acclaimed for its medical ethics, the hospital on November 22, 1994 requested for the royal permission to use the Garuda emblem. The royal permission from H.M. The King was granted on May 24, 2004, which make Vichaiyut the first and the only private hospital so far to receive this honor.
