Thank
you, Mr. Joseph Smith, for trusting us with your health.
"This
is the first testimonial I’ve ever volunteered, and certainly the first time
I’ve shared medical records. I had a 60% tear in a rotator cuff tendon. The specialist
I saw when I had that MRI assessment recommended surgery - six months’ recovery
in the best case, and the best case far from guaranteed.
Instead,
I had experts at Demarest Clinic inject stem cells directly into the damaged
joints using ultrasound. Five months later I went to the hospital for an
update. At the consultation prior to the new MRI, a different specialist - a
leader in his field - said, “if your last scan was a 60% tear that’s a clear
surgery case. I hate to tell you, but tendons don’t really grow back. I’m a
surgeon, I see it every day.” I said I’d had stem cell treatment, he said “I
don’t believe in stem cells for this.”
The
next day he said, “I’m going to have to change my mind about something”. He
showed me the radiologist report noting that my major tear had reduced from
3.4mm to 2mm. The recommendation was bumped down from surgery to conservative
treatment – rehab exercises. I was and am delighted.
This
testimonial was unsolicited. I’m happy to talk to anybody about this – feel free
to contact me through the clinic."
