Mr. Massoud, who is a Political Sciences Professor from Nigeria, had the leg pain complaint radiating from his left hip to the leg. Upon his physical examination, the diagnosis was compression of the nerve in the lower back (disk hernia) and narrowing canal in the spinal cord (spinal stenosis).

Robotic Spine Surgery through The Mazor X Stealth™ Edition has been performed successfully for his treatment. The surgery took about 2 (two) hours.

The next day after the surgery, Mr. Massoud started walking with support. He went back to normal walking on the 3rd day and was discharged on 4th day.

Here is his story...

My name is Massoud. I am 69 years old and I’m from Nigeria.

I used to walk about 20-30 minutes, and then now if I walk about10 minutes, I feel pain. Gradually pain increased and became very severe.

Robotic Spine Surgery (Disk Decompression and Spinal Stenosis Surgery) by Mazor X Stealth™ Edition

I got to know here through a friend who told me that this place was good, and they do very good job, so I got interested and I also wanted to come because of my problem.

I knew that I would be in competent hands, and I did not have any fear really.

I think, on the third day after the surgery, I started walking without help. It was perfectly good.

I’m basically a teacher, I do research. Now, I feel I can do it better because my physical condition has improved; so, I can stand, do my teaching without much pain and can walk again normally. I hope, I will gain my physical composure and stature again.

The atmosphere here is friendly, the environment is good, everybody is friendly.

I am very happy about all things: the treatment and the whole team actually.

Thanks a lot.

Mr. Massoud Omar
