He was the first to start the Rheumatology Clinic in Fortis group of hospitals at Mohali in 2003. He has also been providing expert medical opinion to Canadian, New Zealand & Australian High Commissions on different difficult cases through their DMPs for the last 17 years.

His recent professional Certifications include: Clinical Observation Program for Rheumatologists Sept., 2007 at Ghent University Hospital , Ghent , Belgium , and Educational Activity: Lupus Nephritis provided by American Academy of Continuing Medical Education, May 2008.
Education Dr. Ashit Syngle, a post-graduate in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh (India); has been a topper all through his distinguished academic career scoring distinctions in many subjects and was declared the “Best Graduate”. He has been maintaining his distinction too as a practicing Physician, Cardiologist, Diabetologist and Rheumatologist since 1993.
Memberships Dr Ashit is a life member of Cardiological Society of India, Indian Rheumatology Association & Indian Medical Association. He has been unanimously elected as the Joint Secretary and is an Executive Member of Academic Association of Physicians of Chandigarh. He has been a past member of American Diabetic Association. His recent International Recognitions include- Nomination to Marquis Who’s Who in the World in Feb., 2010 for the year 2010 by the editors of this reputed international publication from USA. Recent work on Endothelial dysfunction in ankylosing spondylitis cited & featured by - an international site which screens 1200 medical journals daily for outstanding work – on 22nd March, 2010.
