Dr. Itzhak Siev-Ner, MD., the Director of the Orthopedic Rehabilitation Department at the Sheba Medical Center since 2002. Dr. Siev-Ner completed his M.D. studies at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He is board certified both in Orthopedic Surgery and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. Other training includes a Fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He established and is the Director of the Israel Performing Arts Medicine Center, and served as the Director of the Complementary Medicine Clinic at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center. Dr. Siev-Ner has received several professional awards, organized a number of international conferences, and is a board member of the Israel Medical Association. His main research and clinical interests are: diabetic foot care, prosthesis and orthotics, chronic wound healing, performing arts medicine, and complementary medicine. |
