Scanhealth Scandinavia is a partnership of three health care providers. Privatsykehuset Haugesund (a private hospital), Haugesund Røntgen Institutt (a private radiology centre, located nearby), Klinikk Hausken (a private infertility centre, also located nearby).

Quality of care and personal service In November 2004, the hospital received ISO approval (NS-EN ISO 9001: 2000 and NS-EN ISO 14001:1996) for their services in orthopaedics, ophthalmology and radiology. It is only one of a few to be awarded this certification.
