- Worked in the reputed Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, he joined the renowned Apollo Hospitals Bangalore, 4 years back. He is a rare doctor, who has brought the Department of Cardiology to world class standards at Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore.
- A Highly experienced Cardiologist in Pacemaker implantations, he has to his credit of having performed more than 500 Device Closures for Atrial Septal defect and PDA.
- He is probably the only doctor in India, for having performed 132 Percutaneous Transluminal Septal Myocardial Ablation for Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, which is the largest number in the country.
- Dr. Ramesh started his career as a lecturer at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology in the Department of Cardiology. He went on to become the Assistant Professor and later served as Professor for 12 years, before coming to the Apollo Hospitals, Bangalore.
- Amidst his busy schedule, he has donned the various roles of a President, Secretary in the administrative sections. The prestige of being the President of CSI Bangalore Chapter in 2004-2005 goes to him.
- He was the Secretary of CSI Bangalore Chapter and Karnataka Chapters.
- He was also the Organizing Secretary for the 11th National Annual Conference of Indian Academy of Echocardiography that was held at NIMHANS, Bangalore in 2006.
- He rendered his services as an Organizing Secretary for the Indian society of Electrocardiography conference that was held in Bangalore in 1990. As an Organising Secretary he was responsible for conducting the First State Level Conference of CSI, Karnataka that was held in 2002.
- He is the reigning Joint Secretary from 2004 for the Indian Academy of Echocardiography, Karnataka Chapter.
- He has been a speaker in various continued Medical Education programmes all over the state of Karnataka. |
