Education Dr. Sunit Shukla has graduated from Institute of Medical Sciences situated in Banaras Hindu University, the largest residential university in India with 140 departments. He has passed his post graduation in Internal Medicine and post doctorate in Medical Gastroenterology from the same Institute. Dr. Shukla has received additional training in gastroenterology at General Medical College, Chennai and PGIMER, Chandigarh in manometric techniques and GI Radiology.
Professional Experience He worked as Senior MO in well equipped busy ER of the institute before joining as Assistant Professor in Department of Gastroenterology. He has long exposure of routine and special endoscopic, diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary procedures. He has presented papers at many national conferences and contributed as guest speaker and resource person on several occasions. His special interests are H pylori therapy, nutrition in chronic liver disease, therapeutic challenges in inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatobiliary interventions, transaminasemia and therapy of HBV infection.

He is particularly interested in diagnosing and understanding functional gastrointestinal disorders which are vaguely referred to as gas and acidity by laymen. He has extensive experience of various endoscopic procedures and has performed more than 10,000 procedures during his career till date.

Dr. Sunit Shukla has been a part of the SevenHills Family since a long time, creating a name for himself in the immediate vicinity of the Hospital.
