Dr. Malhotra did his MBBS from Delhi and MD from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He received training and experience in the field of Neuro-Psychiatry and Drug/alcohol/tobacco de-addiction from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, India. As a part of MD training at PGIMER, Chandigarh, he also received training at NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences), Bangalore, India. He brings with him over 15 years of experience working in prestigious and renowned institutes. Following his post graduation at PGIMER, Chandigarh he worked as Consultant Psychiatrist (Asst. Professor) in the Department of Psychiatry and National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS, Delhi and as Consultant Psychiatrist in the National Health Service, United Kingdom.
