His area of specialization is in Cornea and external eye diseases. Has vast experience in treating diseases of the ocular adnexa including Ocular Surface Disorders - Amniotic and Stem Cell Transplantations, Diseases of the Cornea and Anterior Segment .His surgical expertise includes Penetrating and Lamellar Corneal Transplants - DALK, DSAEK, Ocular Trauma, Infections and LASER Refractive surgeries.
His post graduate training was at the world renowned Institution and Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai which included training in all fields of ophthalmology namely, cataract, glaucoma, cornea, oculoplasty, neurophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, retina and uveitis. He has also done a Fellowship in Cataract Microsurgery (Phacoemulsification and small incision cataract surgery) at Sankara Nethralaya. |
