Major Positions Held:
Doctor Troya is the Coordinator of the Maternal program and the Clinic for the prevention and detection of Cancer at the Carlos N. Brin Policlinic of the Caja del Seguro Social. She is also the
chief of the labor room and the chief of education of the gynecology and obstetrics unit at the San Miguel Arcangel Integrated Hospital.

Doctor Troya received her medical diploma with honors in 1980 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama. In 1986 finished her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the
Doctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Complex Hospital of the Caja del Seguro Social. In 1987, she finished a sub specialization in Colposcopy and the Pathology of the Genital tract at the National Oncology Institute. Also, a sub specialization in Gynecological Video laparoscopy,
in 1983. In 1995, attended a course in Advanced Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology in Cancun, Mexico. In 2003, finished a post graduated course in Genetics and Reproduction at the
University of Panama. |
