Attended a post graduated course in Colon Diseases at the Annual Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons, in Orlando, Florida in 1998. In 1999, attended a post graduated course in minimally invasive surgery in the Annual Clinical Congress of the American College of surgeons, in San Francisco, California.
In 2000, attended a course for the Handling of Rectal Prolapse and Hemorrhoids with PPH (Ethicon), in Managua, Nicaragua. A course in Endorectal Ultrasound at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in Weston, Florida, in 2002. In 2004 attended a course in Surgery for the Morbidly Obese with training in animals and supervised human surgery at the Gastro Obeso Center of the Syrian Lebanese Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In
