In 2003, completed a residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Doctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Complex Hospital of the Caja del Seguro Social. Also, in 2003, attended a course on Hand and upper limbs surgery at the Miami Hand Center in Miami, Florida and a course in Hand surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Naples, Florida. At the end of 2003, attended the Institut Universitari Dexeus, in Barcelona, Spain, for a course in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery. In 2004, attended a course in hand surgery and Microsurgery at the Virgen de la Torre Hospital, in Madrid, Spain. |

Prior to receive his medical Diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama in 1996, Doctor Jaén had attended a Professional Practice in Cardiology at the Department of Medicine of the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1995. In 2002, finished a course in Pediatric Orthopedic at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, New York. |
