Dr. Picado is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon at CIMA San Jose Hospital in Costa Rica. After he graduated from the University of Costa Rica, he participated in several fellowships around the world including: hand surgery through Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital and at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York, sports medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, and total joint replacement at Cornell Medical School. He also has completed a trauma fellowship in Switzerland. His areas of expertise are shoulder and knee arthroscopy, anterior cruciate ligament repair, rotator cuff surgery, instability surgery, hip and knee replacement, hand surgery, and trauma surgery. |
