Dr. Tovar is a dedicated ophthalmologist at CIMA San José Hospital. During his more than 12 years of professional experience, he has performed over 200 surgeries. He has been an ongoing researcher in eye procedures with the Medicus Mundi organization in Albacete, Spain and in Burkina Faso, Western Africa since 2001. In addition, he has authored several publications in San Diego, California and two in Madrid, Spain. He has extensive training in the following areas: neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic-orbit, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, and retina-vitrectomy. |
