She also made several presentations at national and international levels and is the Malaysian representative of the Asia Pacific Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Society. |

She graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Mysore University in 1980. She obtained the Masters Degree in Ophthalmology from UKM in 1989. |

Thereafter she did a fellowship in Oculoplastics in the Queens Hospital Nottingham (UK) in 1997. |
