Dr. Kok continues to be at the forefront of medical research and has collaborated in research with the National Institute of Ophthalmology in the United Kingdom and University of New South Wales in Australia. He has presented and published over 60 papers in international and national meetings and journals and continues to lead research at the National University of Malaysia /University Kebangsaan Malaysia. |

Dr. Kok trained through the United Kingdom higher surgical training program at the Wessex deanery in England. He did uveitis and ocular immunology sub-specialist training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and was consultant ophthalmic surgeon in the United Kingdom National Health Service |
