About His special areas of interest are the care, rehabilitation and surgical treatment of musculoskeletal problems occurring in infants and children, such as hip dysplasia and dislocation, foot deformities, spinal deformities, limb length discrepancies and neuromuscular disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Muscular Dystrophy.
Education Completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada in 1973.

Head, Paediatric Orthopaedic, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Trained in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto Teaching Hospitals.

Co-chairman of the Joint Committee on Specialist Training.

Previously the Head of the Department of Orthopaedics, NUS.
