Bangkok Hospital Pattaya
The Bangkok Hospital Pattaya is located in Pattaya. It was established in 1990 and started with 100 beds. In 2000, a new building intended to house specialized clinics and 200 more beds was completed. It was primarily built to provide services for a larger number of patients needing more comprehensive treatment and management. The hospital now has a total of 400 beds. It is regarded as a specialty center for health care. It provides special diagnostic procedures and medical curative services.
The hospital earned its ISO 9002 certification in 1997. Presently, the certification has been raised to ISO 9001:2000. In addition, it was accredited by the Hospital Accreditation Institute of Thailand in 2004. It was given the Best Hospital Management Award by the HMA for three consecutive years specifically in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
A huge number of international medical tourists visit the center every year for various medical services. 40 percent of the total patient population or 100,000 overseas patients are recorded each year. Interpretation services for more than 20 languages are available to assist patients in their communication concerns.
The hospital’s Dental Center provides services in all fields of Dentistry. Its medical team which comprises of 30 specialists offers dental treatments in almost all dental areas. These dental areas include dental implantation, operative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral & maxilla-facial surgery, endodontics, remedial dentistry, emergency service, and cosmetic dentistry. The center is open from Mondays through Sundays.
