Dr. Suarez attended medical school at the Universidad Autónoma de Central America. After receiving his degree, he completed a residency in general surgery at the Hospital San Juan de Dios while studying at the University of Costa Rica. Dr. Suarez then traveled to Japan to attend the Nippon Medical School in Tokyo to pursue a fellowship in research with the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. |
