• Dr. Leor Zach MD, Senior Physician at the Radiation Oncology Department, specializes in Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy. Dr. Zach completed his fellowship at the Radiation Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. His specific field of interest was imaging applications for brain and spinal cord malignancies.
• Dr. Zach is the recipient of a Harry and Bella Wexner Senior Fellowship for Medical Education and Research of the Legacy Heritage Fund. He is a Lecturer at the Sackler School of Medicine. As a specialist in NeuroOncology, Dr. Zach’s focus is on the treatment of tumors and metastasis of the Central Neural System (brain and spine).
• Dr. Zach is a regular participant in the clinical discussion on Tumor Boards. He is a member of SNO (Society of Neuro Oncology) and a regular participant in the Israeli Neuro Oncology Forum. He is involved in clinical trials in cooperation with Advanced Technologies Center at Sheba, to promote understanding and improved treatment of patients with Central Neural System Tumors.
