Penang Adventist Hospital

The Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH) is a non-profit medical institution which is part of a network of more than 500 medical facilities around the world operating under Adventist Health International. It began providing healthcare in 1924 and has grown to be a tertiary medical care institution that caters to the Malaysian and international community.

PAH has achieved accreditations from Joint Commission International, Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, The Malaysia Society in Health and Quality and The Adventist Health Services Asia. The hospital houses 258 fully functioning beds in a five storey building, plus five operating theatres, one ten-bed intensive care unit, several delivery suites, a neo-natal intensive care unit, an x-ray/imaging department, a laboratory, a physiotherapy unit and three floors of patient wards.

There are various types of room available in the hospital. Facilities vary accordingly of each type, but all are provided with a nurse call bell, and patients are provided with clothing and toiletries likewise. Patients are allowed to have only one companion to stay overnight, but only if opted to stay in a Diamond, VIP or Private Room. The Diamond Room is well appointed with deluxe amenities and provided with free WiFi service as well.

PAH is located in Pulau Pinang and is easily accessible from the Penang International Airport by cab, rent a car, or bus. Onsite is an Adventist Bakery and Commissary which offers healthy bread and bread products.
