Changi General Hospital

The Changi General Hospital is a major hospital catering to the healthcare needs of people in the eastern end of Singapore. The hospital has a bed capacity of 790 and a range of medical and paramedical services that cover a wide area of specialties. The Changi General Hospital houses its services in a nine storey building that span a huge area of land. The 790 beds are distributed in the hospital’s 26 wards. The hospital has 22 specialty clinics and a little under a 100 consultation rooms.

The Changi General Hospital has racked numerous awards and achievements since 1995. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission International first in 2005, and reaccredited in 2008. Changi General Hospital’s first certification of the ISO was in 1996 – the ISO 9002:1994. In 1998, the hospital received the ISO 1401 certification.
