Asian Hospital and Medical Center - Overview
The Asian Hospital and Medical Centre was established in 2002 and has a 230-bed capacity for inpatients. It presently has over 700 physicians, many of whom operate a clinic at the adjacent Medical Office Building (MOB). It is the first major private hospital in the south of Manila with tertiary care facilities.
Asian Hospital and Medical Center is partly owned and is an affiliate of Bumrungrad International Hospital from Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2005, it was awarded the Most Outstanding Modern Hospital by the Philippine Marketing Excellence Award. It is also accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. It has partnered with the Department of Health and Department of Tourism to promote medical tourism in the Philippines.
It offers health care services under the different fields of Medicine such as Cardiology, Urology, Oncology, Surgery, Dermatology, Dentistry, and many others.
For international patients, it offers several packages such as Executive Health Screening and Cosmetic Surgery Procedures. It could also arrange hotel accommodations to medical tourists. Its International Health Centre guides foreign patients during their entire stay in the hospital. The hospital also offers internet connection and spa services.
