||Following his under graduation from Coimbatore Medical College, he did his post graduation from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai in 2001.
He has undergone intense training in Anaesthesia, Intensive care and Pain management in the United Kingdom for 5 years and obtained FRCA from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London in 2008.
During his training in the UK, he has gained invaluable experience in various super specialties including Liver Transplant at the Royal Infirmary- Edinburgh, Royal Hospital for Sick Children-Edinburgh, Kings College Hospital-London, Southern General Hospital-Glasgow and in various Hospitals in East Anglia-England including West Suffolk Hospital-Bury St Edmunds.
In the UK, he has completed Advanced Life support (ALS), European Paediatric Life Support (EPLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses.
He has also obtained special training in fibre-optic intubation; ultrasound guided nerve blocks, Teaching methods and Simulation based training.
