Stephen is a highly experienced drug & alcohol clinician, with a background in residential 12 Step drug & alcohol rehabilitation treatment centres in the UK, working to D.A.N.O.S. & NVQ level 2/3 in Health & Social Care standards, has a qualification in counselling skills along with a thorough understanding of the 12 Step method of recovery.
Stephen has extensive experience in providing psycho-educational workshops on the subject of addiction, recovery, coping strategy, harm minimization, relapse prevention & drug awareness. Stephen has made presentations on the subject of addiction to Government organisations, including the British Prison Service, as part of the implementation of new drug & alcohol rehabilitation programmes. |
