Doctor Pablo Clavel has 15 years' experience in spinal surgery, a field in constant evolution whose innovation he himself has contributed to.
Before specializing in spinal surgery, Doctor Clavel started his career in neurovascular surgery and continues to be a visiting teacher at Cornell University in New York. The long periods spent in the United States were the source of inspiration that eventually led him to offer his treatments to international patients.
After completing his specialization studies at the Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital, Doctor Clavel worked in several Barcelona hospitals and in 2003 he returned to the Santa Creu and Sant Pau as an attending doctor.
In 2011 he took a leave of absence to focus exclusively on spinal surgery, and in particular his innovative lumbar and cervical prosthetic disc surgery. |
