Transmed was established in 1994 as a medical center to offer hair transplantation surgeries. In less than a year, Transmed became the first clinic in Turkey to accomplish a surgery applying the mini-micro grafting technique. Transmed has pioneered other hair transplant techniques thereafter, and has even developed their own technique called the mega-mix grafting.

Having started as a small clinic, Transmed grew to be able to offer a wider range of services other than hair restoration. In 1997, they have moved into a 6,400 square feet building. In 2003, they underwent major renovation which resulted to a very modern facility. The clinic employs the expertise of 5 doctors lead by Dr. Melike Külahçı-Paeffgen. Transmed doctors are supported by 12 assistants.

Transmed offers cosmetic services likewise, including laser depilation procedures, liposhaping, breast surgeries, abdominoplasty, and other cosmetic procedures on the face and body.
