Hospital de La Familia - overview
Hospital de la Mujer literally translates as Women’s Hospital but nonetheless extends its services to the whole family. It is basically a hospital for the care of women from the day of birth till their adult age. Hospital de la Mujer’s services cover various medical needs of women, including gynecology, dermatology, pediatrics, several kinds of surgeries like plastic and reconstructive procedures, and even family medicine – just to state a few.
The hospital houses only 15 patient rooms, all of which are appointed with luxurious facilities. The hospital has the complete facilities to complement the services they offer. Onsite as well is a pharmacy, a chapel and a cafeteria. Hospital de la Mujer is located just off the border from San Diego.
