I have another question regarding recovery time. Although I realize each patient is unique and therefore you might be hesitant to advise,
I am merely trying to gauge and calculate rest/travel home arrangements for the average patient.
Also I was wondering if there was any special evaluation required or desired that I could have performed here in the USA by a doctor that would be of great value to the surgeon?
The first class flight physical I will receive in a few days is fairly routine although it does include a hernia check, EKG, and other general checks.
Lastly, once all arrangements have been made, how far in advance does your facility require I schedule for the procedure?
I am thinking of a target date in March or perhaps April for now, depending on all situations.

Thank you for your inquiry. Since I got a positve reply with a fixed appointment from Fortis Memorial in Gugaon when I was still in Germany, I went there for a dialysis on Jan. 24, 28 and Feb. 1st after my arrival in Delhi.

Regarding the facilities and service of the staff, specially Faisal, I was really very positively surprised. When visiting a far away country as a dialysis patient for the very first time you are a little doubtful. But everything went very well. So I will be a patient of Fortis Memorial again on my next visit to New Delhi.

By the way, I had filled in the questionnaire at the end of my last dialysis, which was just as positive.

I have to say was very very impressed by the services they offered. Was done surgery by Dr S S Saggu, and he made me whole again, am no longer in as much pain as I was in.
It has reduced by 70% which is awesome. Was impressed by your services and hospitality.
The young man in charge of international patient Syed also helped a lot. Nurses and resident doctors were very nice.

" Apologies for the delayed response, but I am currently away on holiday with little internet.

After I filled out the online form,the medical center contacted me first thing the next morning and helped me make an appointment. I was actually limited for time, as I was leaving for holiday that same week. They were very helpful, and somehow managed to get me in a couple of days later.

And because I was leaving, I was not going to be able to pick up my results. The gentleman in the office organized it that I was able to send my husband to pick up the results.

Which he did, and he to said it was very easy and the staff was very helpful. My husband has since injured himself and was able to book an appointment with the help of the staff on that same vist.

In other words, the whole experience was amazing. We are very greatful for all their assistance, and we feel a lot better knowing that there is a service like this to help us.
